Available Species
Throughout the entire season, we fish both out of boats and from shore.
*Available Species – All five species of Pacific Salmon, including Chinook Salmon known as Kings, Coho Salmon known as Silvers, Sockeye Salmon known as Reds, Chum Salmon known as Dog Salmon and Pink Salmon known as Humpies.
This river receives excellent numbers of sea-run Dolly Varden and hosts fantastic numbers of resident species such as Rainbow Trout and Grayling.
Northern Pike are also available.
June 15th – July 15th – PEAK time for King Salmon (Kings available until July 25th) **If fishing during this time, you will need to purchase a King Salmon Stamp in addition to your regular fishing license.**
June 20th – July 31st – Chum Salmon
June 25th – July 25th – Sockeye Salmon
July 15th – August 25th – Pink Salmon
July 10th – September 5th – Dolly Varden/Arctic Char
July 24th – September 5th – Silver Salmon
Rainbow Trout and Grayling are available all season.
What should I expect for weather?
Weather in Alaska is extremely unpredictable. July is typically the warmest month, however anytime you come up, be prepared for highs in the 70’s and lows in the 40’s. Also, ALWAYS be prepared for rain and wind – good rain gear and wind protection is a MUST.
What we Provide
Your week’s package includes lodging, all meals, 6 days guided fishing, rods, flies and all terminal tackle.
What is NOT Provided
Your week’s package does NOT include airline travel from your hometown to Quinighak, Alaska, fishing licenses, travel insurance, waders, boots or any clothing. It also does not include any tips for your guides or camp staff.
How do I get my Alaska Fishing License and how much does it cost?
To buy your online fishing license, go to www.admin.adfg.state.ak.us/buyonline.
Under License Information, click on ‘Buy Licenses and Tags Online.’ Then ‘Begin Purchase Process.’
Then enter your personal information and click ‘Continue’ at the bottom of the page.
Click on Sport Fishing and Hunting License and follow the instructions from there.
Even though you will get your license in the mail, be sure and print a copy from online.
*Make sure you purchase a ‘Nonresident 7 Day Sport Fishing License’. The start date should be the day you arrive at camp and you should pick a start time of 12 Noon.
**If you are fishing between June 10th and July 25, you will additionally need to purchase a King Salmon Stamp.

We currently accept cash, checks or money orders.
Tip Expectations for Guides/Chef
The camp staff/guides will be in a shared tip pool. Tipping is normally 10-15%.
