GREAT LAKES FLY FISHING REPORT
Lake Erie and Ontario Tributaries
Steelhead, Rainbows, and Brown Trout

October 26, 2016

Last week we had a series of rain events that triggered more steelhead to run up the tributaries. This week guests have enjoyed targeting steelhead in both the larger rivers and smaller sized streams. Several larger sized double digit steelhead have been landed along with many in the 6 to 8 pound range along with some one year old fish as well. We are using a variety of techniques and flies to catch steelhead including swinging streamers, woolly buggers, indicator fishing egg patterns and nymphing. Check back in next week and we will post some updated pictures of these beautiful chrome bright steelhead!
