Reel Action Alaska Lodge is perfectly situated on the banks of the Kanektok River. The Kanektok River and Togiak National Wildlife Refuge are world class fisheries with Leopard Rainbow Trout, Char, Grayling and all five species of Pacific Salmon.

At Reel Action Alaska Lodge we operate a deluxe tent lodge with all the comforts of home but located in the Alaskan bush. We have single person accommodations for the same price as double occupancy and also have larger tent cabins for two people if you would like to share. The Kanektok River is a fly fishing paradise with plenty of gravel bars, lots of braids and many smaller side channels to explore. With over five hundred thousand fish passing by our lodge every season it's a remarkable and wild fish factory. During your week you will also get to fish in the scenic and wild Togiak National Wildlife Refuge which has all the same species of fish! The lodge has seven jet boats to transport you to the hottest fishing action on the river. Our guide to client ratio is two clients per one guide assuring you the highest level of service on your trip. We also have many high quality rods and reels for your use while at our lodge. At the lodge we only take a maximum of 12 guests per week and have a staff of 10 to provide you with excellent customer service. Our guides are seasoned professionals with a combined 30 plus years of experience in Alaska. We invite you, your family and friends to join us on the most diverse fishery in Alaska!

Season: Our 2026 summer season will start on June 12th and run through August 31st, 2026.

Lodge Capacity: We can accommodate 12 guests per week and hire a staff of 10 to 12 which ensures you have the best individual attention along with excellent customer service. Our small size allows us to have a flexible fishing program.

Single or Double Occupancy: All guests get their own fully furnished tent cabin complete with comfortable bedding and heater for no additional charge. Single anglers do not pay extra, period! We also have larger tent cabins for guests that would like to share.

Togiak Wildlife Refuge Access: We have fishing access in the wild and scenic Togiak National Wildlife Refuge.

Riverfront Fishing Access: We have excellent riverfront access that guests can walk too from camp and has some of the best king, silver, and chum holding water on the river.

Highest Quality and Variety: The Kanektok River is one of the best rivers in the world for having a huge variety of beautiful, aggressive fish, combined with a huge variety of fly fishing water (main river, small stream channels, gravel bars, spey/swinging water, drift boat water). Over five hundred thousand fish run past our lodge during the season.

Excellent Mousing: The river has some of the best mousing for rainbow trout and dollies in Alaska. We have even caught silvers, chums, pinks, sockeye, and grayling on mouse patterns!

Guide Ratio: Two guests to one guide with your own jet boat. Our guides are courteous and respectful of the fishery, knowledgeable in their craft, patient, and excellent instructors.

Rotation Of Guides: Guests go out with a different guide daily and are able to experience different techniques and locations on the river. Our guests often comment on how much they learn with having a different guide each day.

Lodge Equipment: We have Anderson, Winston, Sage, Orvis, G-Loomis, Redington, Rise and Echo fly rods. 10wts, 9wts, 8wts, 7wts, 6wts both spey, switch, and single hand rod/reel outfits are all accessible for your use.

Custom Fly Patterns: All our guides tie their own flies and have special fly patterns that are highly effective on the Kanektok River. Rest assured your guides will be prepared so you have the best trip possible.

Easy and Affordable Travel: Flights to our lodge are easy and affordable with rates ranging between $650 to $875 round trip from Anchorage.

Family, Friends, and Fun: Our family friendly environment makes this a great trip for couples, families, and friends. Our guides are excellent instructors and are great at teaching beginners how to cast a fly rod and catch fish!

Trip Details: Your all inclusive trip package also includes transportation from Quinhagak to the lodge by jet boat, all lodging, meals, rods, reels, custom flies, terminal tackle and pictures and videos from your trip.

Travel Costs: The Alaska Airline Visa Signature Credit Card helps you save on flights not only up to Alaska but especially for the round trip flight from Anchorage to Bethel. This flight typically uses 15K- 20K miles points round trip or are typically $225 to $260 dollars per person round trip. Since you are awarded 50,000 miles points after signing up ($95 annual fee) and spending 3K in purchases (hint could be your Alaska trip deposit) these miles cover the cost of three to four people round trip tickets a savings of $675 to $900! Miles roll over from year to year so you can also save them up for a different trip. Friends and family members can also take advantage of the companion ticket which allows two people to fly from the same airport for the price of one with an added fee of $99. Note even if the companion ticket is not offered from your home airport chances are the major airport your connection through (Seattle, Chicago, New York, Newark, Atlanta, LA) is on the list. Booking Terms: A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking to hold your week. We will hold your week for 10 business days after booking, until the deposit has been received. Our prime weeks fill up very quickly and availability is subject to first come first serve. Final payment of the remaining 50% is due 120 days prior to your trip. We strongly recommend travel insurance for unforeseen circumstances.
